Dalmatia fig spreads are hand-picked and sun-dried on old wooden pallets by local Dalmatian farming families. Dried to a rich golden color, the figs are made into spreads using only the finest ingredients. The oranges for the Fig Spread with Orange come from the island of Korcula, a remote island on the Adriatic Coast. The end result is a prize-winning, all-natural product with superior fruit count.

From Croatia on the eastern shore of the Adriatic, across the sea from Italy
Prepared in this region since the 15th century, this plum spread is made of 100% fruit with no added sugar, preservatives, or coloring—just as it has been enjoyed for centuries. It is made of blue plums grown in the green, hilly villages surrounding Zagreb in northern Croatia. Traditionally used as a filling for pastries, cookies, and donuts; its good balance between acidity and sweetness make it a perfect accompaniment to mild cheeses, or as a glaze for roast pork loin. This spread is also known for helping digestion and enhancing appetite. A great alternative to heavily sweetened jams and spreads.

The figs are hand picked from the Dalmatian Coast of Croatia, sun-dried and carefully cooked to
create this supreme eating experience…– also available in Orange flavour
How is it used?
When we began producing this fruit rich jam, we used it as a fruit preserve-mostly for breakfast
with bread and butter, as a topping on waffles with fresh whipped cream and in pastries.
Our consumers find that it perfectly complements their cheese selections…
with Celebrity International Goat cheese and French bread, sharp Zerto Asiago, or with fresh fruit and
blue cheese. A very popular recipe is sandwiching fig spread between two slices of Brie cheese.
The taste marriage between the Fig Spread & Cheeses comes together very nicely.
