Soleggiati Tomatoes

Soleggiati Tomatoes - Round tomatoes cut into wedges, salted, placed out in the sun to dry slightly, seasoned with garlic and oregano and packed in oil without vinegar. Their flavor is delicate and sweet.This is a traditional product of Southern Italy, where the tomatoes are baked in the oven and packed in jars with oil

Uses - Excellent for hors d'oeuvres, canapés, sandwiches, and hot or cold pasta dishes.

Porcini Trifolati Sliced “il Boschetto”

Porcini mushrooms, lightly seasoned with vegetable oil. Herbs and white wine.

Uses - They may be served either cold or heated, as a side dish, with pizza or sandwich topping . Perfect as an hors d’oeuvre or as an appetizer.

Salsa Tropea

Like almost every country, has a great variety of onions, many of which remain quite local and are eagerly enjoyed by the connoisseurs who happen to live where they are grown. The sweet purple-red onions of Tropea (in Calabria) are an exception to this picture; they are for the most part enjoyed raw, in salads or orther preparations.

Mushroom Truffle Cream Sauce

Fresh field mushroom finely chopped, and truffle-flavoured to create a palatable sauce spread. The flavour of mushrooms with the flavour of truffle together give an intense and refine taste to this special cream. Ideal with canapes, vol-au-vents, first and main courses, meat dishes. Perfect with sandwiches, rice, pasta and quiches.

Serving suggestions:
Gnocchi with cream of truffle, cream of cheese, grated "Parmigiano Reggiano:, butter.

Lasagne with cream of truffle, bechamel, grated "Parmigiano Reggiano", butter. Ideal with canapes, sandwiches, rice, pasta and main courses.

Antipasto

A savoury mix ideal with vegeatbles, mushrooms, peppers, articokes, black and green olives, salt, sunflower seed oil and flavours. Mix of vegatables in oil without vinegar, ideal to garnish bruschette, for buffet and side-dishes. Perfect for pasta dishes or rice salads. The assence of vinegar make this savoury mix perfect to garnish pizza.

Serving suggestions:
Pasta dish with Anitpasto Gitano and olive oil and pizza with tomato pulp, cheese and antipasto gitano.

Artichoke "Alla Romana"

Artichokes with stems, prepared with olive oil, sunflower oil, white wine, parsley, and herbs.

Artichokes À La Giudia (Whole Artichoke with Stem)

Large fresh artichokes with stems, prepared with olive oil, sunflower oil, white wine, parsley, and herbs.

Excellent as a side dish prepared au gratin or fried, and as an hors-d'oeuvre.

Artichoke Hearts Sauce for Pasta Dishes

Artichoke hearts in thin slices, cooked with fresh vegetables, sunflower oil, salt, and herbs.

Serving suggestions:
Ideal with rice and pastas—tagliatelle, penne, and garganelli. Delicious on scaloppinis, canapés, quiches and pies, vol-au-vents, pizzas, and in sandwiches.

Marinated Grilled Artichokes Halves

Artichokes grilled in the traditional manner with olive oil, sunflower oil, and salt and seasoned with parsley and garlic.

Serving suggestions:
Ideal served warm as a side dish for grilled meats, hamburgers, and fish. Excellent as a cold buffet dish, and delicious as topping on pizzas and also for hot sandwiches.

Grilled Egg Plant

Grilled Egg Plant slices, lightly seasoned with vegetable oil, herbs, parsley and garlic. Produced with top quality ingredients.

"Pizzicosa" Sauce

Fresh vegetables (onions,peppers, carrots, fennels, radish, celery, gherkins, cauliflowers) cooked with wine, vinegar, hot pepper, paprika, spices, tomato and sunflower oil to obtain a lasty and spicy sauce.

Serving suggestions:
Spicy sauce with an intense and aromatic flavour. Ideal for red meats or sandwiches with ham or vegetables. Ideal for canapes, hamburgers, hot dogs, pizzas, French toast etc. Excellent served as a cold buffet dish, served with grilled neats or hamburgers. It contains fresh vegetables and the seasoning of these vegetables gives to the sauce an intense and refined natural taste. The spicy aftertaste doesn't cover the flavours of recipes, but it enhances them making it palatable also for demanding consumers.

"Pomodorina" Neapolitan Sauce

A special tomato sauce prepared with fresh chopped tomatoes and a great variety of fresh vegetables, herbs and sunflower oil. This sauce us produced at the height of the tomato season with only the best tomatoes.

Serving suggestions:
A sauce with a zesty, home-made taste. Ideal for pasta dishes, and on crostini (toasted slices of bread), pizzas, or for rice and meat with tomatoes.

Semi-dried tomatoes ("soleggiati")

Round tomatoes in segments, salted and lightly sundried, in garlic and oregano flavoured oil. Of sweet and delicate taste, without vinegar.

They may be served cold, as side dish, pizza or sandwich topping or like antipasto. Perfect in a salad buffet with other vegetables, ideal as a side dish for meat.
