Bothwell Horseradish Cheddar Steak Sandwich

Ingredients :
2 lb. beef striploin, thinly sliced
1 cup red onion, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 cup demi-glace or thin beef gravy
4 slices thick crusty bread
3 tablespoons garlic butter
8 slices Bothwell Horseradish Cheddar
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Coarsely chopped parsley


Instructions :
Preheat oven to 375ºF. Saute the onions and beef in olive oil and add demi-glace. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Butter bread and toast in oven for 5 minutes. Top bread with steak mixture and 2 slices of cheese. Bake for 10 minutes and garnish with chopped parley. Serve with your favourite side salad.
