Like the Edam cheese it closely resembles, it has a pale yellow color and irregularly spread small holes. Six weeks of aging has produced it's mild taste and subtle aroma. Its firm consistency means it's sliceable, yet it retains a soft meltability. We've also elimated rind and waste. These qualities make Lappi versatile, ideal for sandwiches, cooking or just snacking.
