Caprese Salad
Serve: 4
Ingredients :
3 vine-ripe tomatoes, 1/4 inch thick slices
1 lb Zerto Mozzarella, 1/4 inch thick slices
20 to 30 leaves (about 1 bunch) fresh basil
Extra-virgin olive oil, for drizzling
coarse salt and pepper
Instructions :
Layer alternating slices of tomatoes and mozzerela, adding a basil leaf between each, on a large, shallow platter.
Drizzle the salad with extra-virgin olive oil and season with salt and pepper, to tase.
Pizza Margherita
Serve: 4
Ingredients :
1 prepared pizza dough
1 Tbsp. olive oil
3 ripe plum tomatoes, cut into thin slices
1 1/2 cups Zert Fresh Mozzarella, diced
6 fresh basil leaves, chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
Instructions :
Preheat oven to 425 degree F. Place pizza dough on lightly oiled pan.
Brush with 1/2 Tbsp. olive oil.
Place tomato slices on the dough; top with Zerto Fresh Mozzarella, chopped basil, salt and remaining olive oil.
Bake pizza for 25 to 30 minutes or until top and bottom crust are nicely browned. Cut into wedges and serve.
